Being a nursing home, we employ qualified registered nurses 24hrs per day providing round the clock care supported by a care team working day & night to ensure residents receive the best from the best.
In order to provide care to the highest possible standard, the latest equipment is used for the safe moving, handling & transfer of residents. A trained, qualified moving and handling assessor from within the current care team is responsible for ensuring all staff are individually trained and competent to carry out these essential tasks in addition to working in full compliance with health & safety guidelines.
Bathrooms are installed with the latest auto lift bathing equipment making life easier and more comfortable for both residents and staff with water temperatures monitored at all tap sources to ensure neither residents or staff are at risk of scalding.

Profiling beds are installed in all bedrooms along with appropriate air mattresses in order to alleviate medical conditions of a physical nature and to avoid unnecessary discomfort.
Air cushions are used where appropriate to ensure that when sitting for periods of time, any discomfort that might otherwise be experienced is either reduced or eliminated.
All bedrooms are decorated to a high standard with quality furniture, fittings and lighting to provide a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere.
The piano lounge provides another daily living space for relaxing, sitting chatting to friends and family, watching and listening to the varied entertainers who frequently visit the home, or listening and joining in to visiting pianists who will play a variety of tunes & songs both old and new to enable the residents to join in with their favourite and best loved music from times gone by.
A well equipped and easily accessed kitchen with experienced cook’s preparing food for all tastes and diets, ensures wholesome food is served throughout the day be it in the dining room, or by request, in the residents own room.
A 5 star rating for kitchen hygiene, working closely with infection control, ensures food, supplied locally wherever possible, is prepared to the highest standards, cooked and served to residents in an appetising way according to each residents individual dietary requirements.
A walk through the grounds of Park House captures sight of much local wildlife and varieties of birds, squirrels, hedgehogs and even the odd fox, not to mention the 165 or so (protected) trees, wildflowers, shrubs and plantlife all of which thrive in these rural surroundings and enjoyed by the residents whilst taking a leisurely walk through this tree dominated woodland area, or viewed from the spacious conservatory windows.
The conservatory makes for an ideal all year round visual space for residents to watch wildlife and the changing seasons whilst in a comfortable heated and air conditioned environment, whatever the weather, wind, rain, hail, snow or even when the sun makes an appearance when aircon for the residents to be comfortable is a must.
